Forming in 2017, Standard Issue Pleasure Model hit the ground running, quickly coalescing a unique sound, they toured up and down Vancouver Island while recording their first album. Released in December of the year of its namesake, “2020”, is a sonic memoir of the band’s formative years, documenting their evolution as artists.

Fronted by Shea Morgan and Raine Balson (Vocals/Guitar) and driven by drummer MJ Hogue, their music is an energetic psych-rock; futuristic guitars, hypnotic drumlines, and soulful vocals merge into a relentless performance. Their songs are about dystopian futures and deeply personal voyages.
